Assignments for week 5, due 11/17/11
1) Review ch's 1-7 of "Why I Left the Contemporary Christian Music Movement" by Dan Lucarini, and ch's 1-3 of "sound worship" by Scott Aniol, in preparation of long-answer questions on Thursday's TEST.
2) Turn in concert evaluation forms for BOTH: Saturday, Denver Brass + organ AND Wednesday with Dr. & Mrs. Mac Lynch. [use the eval form DURING the concert on Wednesday night].
3) Review theory notes, lessons 1 & 2, on lines and treble staff. LIKELY ON TEST.
4) Continue listening to Jewish music samples, linked to right-side of blog. [you must permit YouTube in your internet security, DNS filter and firewall].
5) STUDY FOR TEST...for sure on test: verses from Ephesians 5, 2 Timothy 3 and Colossians 3. Other test material: excerpts from all 3 quizzes given thus far this semester. YOU WILL RECEIVE A SAMPLE TEST VIA E-MAIL ATTACHMENT TO ASSIST YOU IN PREPARATION FOR THURSDAY.
6) +Plan to attend the Friday concert of the Colorado Association of Christian Schools.
IT IS ASSUMED ALL CAN ATTEND, PLEASE E-MAIL/TEXT/CALL IF YOU WILL NOT BE ATTENDING FRIDAY NIGHT.
again, your way is PAID for Friday's concert out of your WBBI tuition.
+ extra credit offered to if you attend festival rehearsals during the morning and/or afternoon...you must attend at least 90 minutes to earn extra credit [applied to your overall semester grade]. (Luke does not earn extra credit as he is a participant...he must see me, as any student, for additional extra credit work).
